Rooms
This three-floor villa features three guestrooms and six apartments, with a further two apartments in an adjacent farmhouse. All are named after famous Tuscan artists and are furnished in a traditional Tuscan style with wood floors, shuttered windows and simple, elegant furniture. Apartments are equipped with kitchenettes, sofabeds sleeping two extra people and one or two bathrooms with showers. Guestrooms share a roof terrace with beautiful views of the Chianti Hills. All apartments and guestrooms are equipped with cable televisions, direct-dial phones, minibars and complimentary Internet access.

Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR): Approximate driving time is 60 minutes and distance is 35 kilometres (22 miles).
Airport transport can be arranged through the villa. Otherwise, the airport is a short taxi ride (fares cost around 15 Euros) or bus journey away from Florence city centre. From here trains run to Montevarchi or Arezzo stations, each another short taxi ride from the villa.
The best way to explore the local area is on foot or by bicycle which is available to hire at the villa. Rental cars are recommended for travelling further afield.
Driving directions: From Northern Italy, take the A1 motorway in the direction of Rome (Roma). Continue past Florence (Firenze), and then for another 20 kilometres, and exit at Valdarno. After the pay toll, turn right and follow the signs for Terranuova Bracciolini. At the junction keep left and go under the railway bridge, then take the first exit off the roundabout following signs for San Giustino Valdarno. Continue following the signs for approximately 15 kilometres until reaching San Giustino Valdarno. A sign for Villa La Grotta is then visible. Turn left and the villa on your right after around one kilometre.
From Southern Italy, take the A1 motorway in the direction of Florence (Firenze). Exit at Arezzo, then follow directions for Castiglion Fibocchi (alternatively follow signs for the 'Strada del Vino') for approximately 12 kilometres. After Castiglion Fibocchi, continue for another five kilometres. Upon arrival in San Giustino Valdarno signs for Villa la Grotta are visible. Follow the signs and after around one kilometre the villa is on the right-hand side.
